Treaty of Cestus III

The Treaty of Cestus III is an agreement between the United Federation of Planets and the Gorn. In 2267, the Gorn destroyed a Federation outpost on Cestus III. The Federation had been unaware that the Gorn considered Cestus III to be part of their sovereign space. This treaty cleared up the misunderstanding and allowed the Federation to establish a colony on the planet.
