Micro-torpedo launcher

An offshot of the torpedo launcher, this system was developed to arm small vessels such as runabouts, shuttlecraft and fighters. It fires a compact torpedo with a much smaller warhead than the standard models. On Klingon ships, it is known as a Class 1 Torpedo Launcher and in Starfleet usage as the Mark IX Micro-Launcher.
