Organia

Home to the powerful non-corporeal Organians, Organia IV is the fourth planet of six orbiting a bright yellow dwarf located on the border between Federation and Klingon space. For many years, this area of space was disputed between the two former enemies. Because of its location, Organia became a focal point during the First Federation-Klingon War and was in fact invaded by the Klingons. After the Treaty of Organia, the planet was again left to its native species and the two governments have become allies, largely due to the intervention of the Organians.

The Organians originally appeared to be a simple nontechnological farming people with culture rated D-minus on the Richter scale. This illusion quickly vanished, however, as it was learned that the inhabitants were actually immensely advanced, noncorporeal beings. They had little interest in the affairs of others and maintained the farming culture illusion solely for the benefit of visitors.
