Ajilon System

The Ajilon System is located in the Archanis Sector of the Beta Quadrant, and is half a light year from the border with the Klingon Empire. Its sun is a Class F white star and contains two planets, the Class G Ajilon Lean and the inhabited Class M Ajilon Prime.

The Klingons laid claim to the system for decades until the Treaty of Organia in 2267 forced them to hand it over to Federation control. Following a ceasefire during the Second Federation-Klingon War in the late months of 2372, Chancellor Gowron demanded that the entire Archanis Sector be returned to the Empire. When the Federation refused, an all-out invasion ensued. At the start of the war with the Dominion however, the Klingons withdrew from the system. (DS9: "Nor the Battle to the Strong")
