Marine Duty Uniform

The Marine Artificer is a engineering generalist trained in mechanical, energy or civic engineering attached to Light Infantry or Mechanized Infantry formations to provide a degree of direction in demoliton, the construction of battlefield structures such as fortifications, bridges or shelters as well as battlefield repair of Marine vehicles and equipment. Marine Artificers can be of any rank but are usually at least a non-commissioned officer as a degree of supervisory skill is needed.

Marine Artificers speciallizing in demolitions are often called "sappers" and undergo additional training. They report to the senior Marine Engineer or to the Marine Commanding Officer.
