The Azandria System comprises one of three cataloged star systems in the Typhon Sector. The system's star is a Class G2V main sequence entity, placing it roughly at 4.5 billion years old. Starfleet stellar cartography has designated the star as Omega Seti Majoris, which is situated some 141 light years from Earth. Two planets reside in the system, along with a small Category 3 asteroid field that has formed on the outer fringes and believed to have been a third planet at one time.

Omega Seti Majoris I, more commonly referred to by its proper name Azandria, orbits the star at an average distance of 160,145,239 kilometers. Azandria has a terrestrial atmosphere and is the only known Class M world in the sector. It has one large moon called Phyria.

Omega Seti Majoris II, known as Rama (from ancient Azandria ruins), is a Class I gas supergiant that orbits the system's star at over 600 million kilometers away. It is some 3 million km in diameter, with an atmosphere that is approximately 94 percent di-methenate. Rama has 21 moons of various sizes and classes. There is also a Starfleet subspace transmitter array in orbit, powered by the heat given off by the massive planet.
