Calabra colony is a Federation colony located on Calabra III in the Calabra system. The colony was founded in the mid 24rd century, but due to its proximity to the Romulan Neutral Zone, the colony did not see rapid growth during its early years.
The colony has nearly doubled in size in the last fifteen years, following the construction of Starbase 97 in orbit over Calabra IV.
