Children of Aidoann and Zehuti

The colonists who built Damandor on the Romulan Neutral Zone planet Fallon. They consist of descendants of the Debrune as well as former Zarnac. They live a monastic, pacifist lifestyle they call the "Way," though they do appear to have small arms including disruptor rifles and Zarnac battle pikes.

Starfleet's First Contact with the colonists was made by an Away Team from the USS Hathor that included Executive Officer Tahlandi Enara, Counselor Cody Connors, and Science Officer Loreni Jelora.

The descendants of the Debrune came to Fallon several centuries ago, though the specific date is unclear. They were led by a woman named Aidoann, who seems to have been a spiritual leader that preached pacifism and compassion. These colonists refer to themselves as "Aidoanist," though they prefer the full term "Children of Aidoann and Zehuti," as it confirms the unity of the different races forming the colony.

The former Zarnac of Damandor are followers of someone named Zehuti. Zehuti seems to be a rebel Zarnac religious cult leader who, like Aidoann, preached pacifism and compassion, quite contrary to the beliefs of the Zarnac Empire. Zehuti first led his followers to Fallon about one hundred years ago, though it seems that Zehuti's cult continues to proselytize within the Zarnac Empire and new converts continue to arrive at Damandor according to a stated plan or timeline known as the "Order of Growth." It is unclear whether Aidoann was herself still alive when he arrived. These colonists seem to only refer to themselves as "Children of Aidoann and Zehuti," but the Aidoanists refer to them as "Followers of Zehuti" as well. The Followers of Zehuti hate being called "Zarnac" and bristle at the association.

The colonists refer to Romulans as "Cousins," likely in reference to the common ancestry of Romulans and the Aidoanists.

Named Colonists:

• Mother Szo Nech: Matriarch and Follower of Zehuti
• Father Nvaid Maic: Patriarch and Aidoanist
• Be'Chel Kerien: Former Tal Shiar agent who left her two children, Sa'Vel and Se'Vek, at Damandor for fear that the Tal Shiar would find and kill her.
• Kavor Sateb (deceased): Romulan "Cousin" who raised Sa'Vel and Se'Vek after their mother left them in the colonists' care.
• Brother Zuu Krot: Technician in charge of the geothermal energy plant.
• Brother Kra'ret: A missionary of Zehuti aboard a trade transport that sometimes visits Fallon.
• Brother Rolh (deceased): A colonist who died from gas poisoning while setting up the distress beacon that attracted the attention of the USS Hathor.
