Klaestron IV

Homeworld of the Klaestron people, Klaestron IV is a Class M planet located in the Klaestron system. The system rotates around a single K1-4V star inside the Kalandra sector. It has a temperate climate and terrain not unlike Earth. Most of the population lives in numerous small cities and towns. Metropolitian areas are prohibited by law.

During the mid-24th Century, a civil war threatened the stability of the planet. Ambassador Curzon Dax of the Federation successfully mediated an end to the conflict.

Following the Dominion War, Klaestron IV became a temporary collection and treatment location for Cardassian refugees.
