Protectorate
The Protectorate is a semi-mythical empire that inhabits a Pocket Universe, the only way in is via a Portal that is located near Romulan space; a Starfleet Starbase lays just 5 million miles from the Portal in the hope of making contact. Even though this is known and Protectorate ships are seen arriving and departing though the Portal very little is known about the interior of the Pocket Universe.
