Rigel III

Rigel III, also known as Chelar, is a Class M planet of the Rigel System with a year-round warm climate. As such, much of the planet is covered in lush vegetation along with small oceans, thick steamy jungles, and bubbling swamps. Agriculture is it's primary industry, as the weather is near-perfect for a plethora of crops to be grown. Rigel III is home to the Chelon race (also referred to as Chelarians). It became a Federation member in 2275.
