Cerberus System

Located in the Alpha Quadrant, the Cerberus System comprises two inhabited Class M planets and a rather large asteroid belt. Cerberus contains a Federation colony, while Cerberus II is home to the Cerebusian race who are native to the system.

During the Dominion War, the Cerberus System was one of the first systems to fall into Cardassian hands. Because it did not have any strategic importance, the planets were only occupied with token forces and thus escaped much of the pilliging other systems suffered.
