Bringloidi

The Bringloidi were the inhabitants of Bringloid V, whose ancestors first settled the planet in 2164. They were a group of Neo-transcendentalists, a movement that began after the Third World War in which there was a desire to return to a simpler way of life. Most of the Bringloidi were of Irish descent from Earth, and worked at occupations that helped the colony survive over the years.

In 2365, they were forced to call for help when their sun's flare activity threatened the planet. The USS Enterprise responded to the call, removed the colonists, and helped them resettle on Mariposa.
