Anthony Edwards, Chief Science Officer of the USS Wolff, temporary assignment the Aurillac 3 scientific expedition Personal Log Twenty Seventh October 2394.
Finally after a week and a half of often boring, sometimes asleep travel we have arrived and Aurillac 3. Tomorrow is the first day of unloading an Engineering team finished setting up the Cultural Observation Post about a week ago. The team of ten, two linguistics specialist, Commander Sheen said that it was one to translate the locals and the other to translate me. It took me a while to recognise she was joking. When it wasn’t sleeping there were many, many meetings to discuss the each of the teams tasks. This team is has been well formed, each member has more than one job we all share the observations roll but there are as I said two linguists, a biologist and two geoscientists that have the main role of meteorological data collection. Commander Sheen has the over all collation task of keeping us all on track. There are four cultural specialist which are the four people that are on the team to get out and collect data in isolation suits so they aren’t seen by Aurillians. Tonight is one final good night sleep and then the transporting the equipment and then a week to set up and then we start the mission proper.
