Anthony Edwards, Chief Science Officer of the USS Wolff, temporarily assigned to Aurillac 3 science expedition, Personal Log Twenty Second of December 2394

Over the first ten weeks of . Well it was interesting so far I have been out on two vocal recording expeditions. Apparently until the long distance recording devices are set upon of the linguistic will be going out with the data team to do the recording with the rest of the isolation suit gang. Aurillac 3 seems linguistically a mix of the three most local languages. They would be Bolian, Romulan and Reman. I never expected there to be Reman in it, it’s not even modern it seems from about the same time as the Bolian seemed to move in. Romulan is much older. Remans like on their own planet they have moved underground. From the recordings I have heard the just started to decipher the Reman have found something of value.

Two months and now only a couple of weeks to go. The distance recording was set up and then reset after a massive wind storm came through the Planetary Sciences team said that it was a solar storm, if that is the case it is no wonder the Reman clan, and it does seem to be almost feudal clan based living had taken to the caves. Oh yeah it almost escaped we found evidence of that big discovery the Remans had found in their caves. Dilithium crystals. Next to pure. We found a few near their area of the planet. The Romulans nor the Remans have any clue as they what value they have as the arecutti g and polishing them and mounting them as jewellery we found some in the Bolian range. This could come from the fact that the ships that probably delivered the Romulans and the Remans were likely pre warp and or at the very start of the quantum singularity technology that the Romulans power their vessels with so I expect they wouldn’t know how valuable Federation trade for those crystals could be.
