Bajor Sector

The Bajor Sector is located in the Alpha Quadrant, bordered by both Cardassian space and the Tzenkethi Coalition. Parts of the Demilitarized Zone and the Badlands are also located there. For many centuries, the planets in this sector were non-aligned but at the conclusion of the Dominion War, nearly all had formed alliances with the various galactic powers. The Maquis operated frequently around the sector beginning in the 2360s.

Systems found in the Bajor Sector include:

• The Bajor-B'hava'el System, home to Bajor and Deep Space 9 and once site of the Bajoran wormhole
• The Antares-Chi System, home to the Antares Fleet Yards
• The Valo System
• The Fahleena System, home to Fahleena III
• The Koralis System, home to Koralis III
• The Regulon System
• The Trivas System, home of Empok Nor
• The Farius System, home to Farius Prime

• The Xepolite star, believed to have been home to the Xepolite peoples

• Nehru Colony

During the Second Federation-Klingon War, the Klingons attempted to mine the perimeter of the Bajor Sector, but this plan was foiled by Lt. Commander Worf and his brother Kurn. (DS9: "The Sons of Mogh") The sector suffered greatly during the Cardassian occupation of Bajor and later from the war with the Dominion.
