• The Federation outpost on Vandor IV is established.
• Empok Nor begins refining operations in the Trivas System.

• The Ferengi economy is wrecked during the Great Monetary Collapse. It would take 20 years to recover.

• Wesley Crusher is born on Earth.
• Another attempt at reconciliation between the Gatherers and Acamar III fails. Not until 2366 would they try again.
• A Federation colony is established on Castal I with Talarian approval.

• The Setlik III massacre takes place when Cardassians eradicate the population of the colony. This event signals a beginning to conflict between the Federation and Cardassia which will not end until a truce in the mid 2360's and an official treaty in 2368.
• The Federation successfully mediates an end to the Tessen Crisis between the Talarian Republic and Grazer.
